Emergency Management - Seizures

During a Seizure - Stay Calm
  1. Keep the child safe - move away from sharp objects
  2. Place child on their side if possible
  3. Do NOT put anything in their mouth
  4. Time the seizure - note when it starts and stops
  5. Stay with the child and remain calm
  6. Call emergency services if seizure lasts >5 minutes
  7. Call 911 if this is the first seizure or child is injured
